[In theory, the Doctor would like say that he always ends up where he means to be. In practice, this is nothing at all like the case. More often than not, he ends up where there's some sort of problem or another. Something that needs to be fixed, or somewhere where things are shortly going to be happening that really, really shouldn't be. And that's how he likes it, for the most part. Where he is isn't as important as the adventures that happen and so life goes on.
Today, the TARDIS seems to have landed him on the grounds of what seems to be a reasonably-sized mansion. Not the strangest place he's ever landed, but it does rather leave the TARDIS looking terribly out of place.
On the other hand, the Doctor doesn't really stop to consider that much. Instead, he steps out of the TARDIS with so much as a second thought, and sets about seeing just what he can of where he's landed. That fact that whoever owns these lands might not be particular inclined to tolerate strange visitors doesn't so much as occur to him.]
